WonderWeave Children's Privacy Notice

For parents and guardians. This notice explains how WonderWeave handles information about your child. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
WonderWeave is for parents and children together
WonderWeave is operated by Zanghi LLC, a company registered in Massachusetts, United States, at 20 Kings Row Ln, Framingham, MA 01701, United States. You can reach us at support@wonderweave.app.
Only an adult can create a WonderWeave account. When you sign up we ask you to confirm that you are a parent or guardian aged 18 or over and that you will use WonderWeave with your child. Children do not have their own accounts, do not sign in, and cannot contact us or other people through the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information without a parent's involvement, email support@wonderweave.app and we will delete it.

- A first name or nickname
- Stored in your family's account only. It is not sent to the AI services that write, draw or read stories.
- Age
- Our hosting provider (Google), and the AI services that write and draw the story, which receive the age number only.
- Pronoun choice
- Stored in your family's account only.
- Story ideas
- The AI service that writes the story (Anthropic) and our hosting provider. We ask you not to type names, addresses or other personal details into an idea.
- Stories, pictures and narration made for your child
- Our hosting provider (private storage). Scene descriptions go to the picture service and page text to the narration service, to make the pictures and audio.

We do not collect a child's last name, email, phone number, address, photo, voice recording, precise location, school or any identifier used to track them across other websites or apps. The app does not record anyone's voice.
What we do not do
- No advertising, no sale or rental of information, and no profiling of children for advertising.
- No tracking cookies or analytics tools on child-facing pages.
- No chat, comments, public profiles or publishing. Children cannot share or post anything. If we ever add sharing, it will be controlled by a parent and we will update this notice and ask you first.
- We do not use your child's information or stories to train AI models.
Who we share children's information with
Only the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, only for the purposes in the table above, and not for their own purposes. We choose providers that give us written terms limiting how they may use the information, and we send each provider only the least information it needs.
Your consent and your rights as a parent
By creating an account and confirming that you are a parent or guardian, you consent to the collection and use of your child's information described here. You can, at any time:
- Review what we hold about your child: on your profile page, choose "Download my data".
- Change your child's profile in the app.
- Delete your child's information, and everything else, by choosing "Delete my account" on your profile page. Deletion removes the profile, every story, picture and audio file, and any subscription.
- Refuse further collection or withdraw your consent by deleting your account or emailing us. We will then delete your child's information.
You can also email support@wonderweave.app and we will help. We verify that a request comes from the account holder before sharing or deleting information.
How long we keep information about children
Only while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete your child's profile, stories, pictures and audio from our live systems right away. Copies in our providers' routine backups expire on their normal schedules. We do not keep children's information for any other purpose.
AI-generated stories and safety
Stories, pictures and narration are created by AI. We apply content filters, ask the writing service to keep everything gentle and age-appropriate, and review each story automatically before you see it, but no system is perfect. Please read each story before sharing it with a young child. If you see something unsuitable, tell us at support@wonderweave.app and we will look into it.
Security
We protect information about children with encryption in transit and at rest, private storage, and limited access, as described in our Privacy Policy. We review how we handle children's information as the service changes.
Changes and contact
If we make a material change to this notice, we will tell you and, where the law requires, ask for your agreement again before applying it to your child's information.
